Stylecraft Softie Chunky

Lovely soft yarn and great selection of colours, very happy with them and would highly recommend.

I bought the Softie, mail-order, to go with some other chunky yarn I already have. My initial thoughts are that it does feel a bit more "artificial" than Some other yarns. It's also a fatter yarn than some other chunky yarns. So won't be able to to use it as planned.

That all said, it is a lovely soft yarn. The colours are good and it seems to stay twisted nicely as you knit: but that's because of the high acrylic content.
So if you want a very well priced yarn for a chunky with a semi-super-chunky look, then go for it! It's good.

This was my first order with Sconch, my daughter had recommended the store. I had made one brief visit a few weeks earlier and purchased some knitting wool and a pattern. This order was chosen from the web site, I had never knitted with Softie Chunky before, I have been very pleased with the everything about the product. I have knitted a scarf and the stitch definition is excellent. I hope the recipients of the gifts will be as pleased with them as I have been with the wool.
